Sheref Ergun has spent over two decades working at the heart of UK health and social care regulation. His career spans care home management, domiciliary care operations, supported living services, and children's residential care — giving him a comprehensive understanding of the compliance challenges faced by providers across every service type.
Throughout his career, Sheref has supported care providers through CQC inspections, Ofsted assessments, and quality improvement programmes. He has first-hand experience of what inspectors look for, what evidence makes the difference between a Good and Outstanding rating, and the common pitfalls that lead to Requires Improvement outcomes.
In 2020, he founded CQC Compliance Services Ltd to formalise his compliance consultancy practice, and in 2024 launched MyCareAudit — the AI-powered audit platform that brings his two decades of expertise into an accessible, scalable technology solution.
