Frequently Asked Questions
Are courses included in the MyCareTraining module subscription?
No. MyCareTraining module access (£61/mo) gives you the tools to manage training compliance — training matrix, refresher reminders, compliance dashboard, credit tracking and provider workflows. E-learning course credits are purchased separately and are used when learners are enrolled onto courses.
How do course credits work?
Each course credit enrols one learner onto one course for 12 months. Credits can be purchased individually, as part of a service-type bundle, or as provider credit packages. Credit balances are tracked in MyCareTraining for management and compliance purposes.
Do we need to upload certificates?
No. Learners and providers can download certificates directly from the e-learning platform after course completion. Provider users can then record completions in MyCareTraining so the training matrix, refresher tracker and compliance evidence are updated.
How does the provider manager account work?
Providers purchasing credits can be set up with a manager account, allowing them to enrol their own staff through the e-learning platform once credits are allocated. You provide your organisation name, manager name, email and phone, and we set up your access.
Does MyCareTraining guarantee CQC or Ofsted compliance?
No tool can guarantee regulatory compliance. MyCareTraining supports your training evidence by tracking completions, refresher dates and compliance metrics that align with CQC Regulation 18 and Ofsted training requirements. Compliance depends on how the tools are used alongside appropriate training delivery.
Can I use MyCareTraining without a MyCareAudit subscription?
MyCareTraining is a module within the MyCareAudit platform. It can be added to any plan (Solo, Professional or Complete) or enquired about as part of a standalone provider training package.
What service types are supported?
MyCareTraining supports all 6 MyCareAudit service types: CQC Registered Domiciliary Care, CQC Registered Supported Living, CQC Registered Care Homes, Ofsted Registered Children’s Homes, Ofsted Supported Accommodation 16–18 and Non-Regulated Supported Accommodation.
How does MyCareTraining fit with Professional and Complete plans?
Professional subscribers can select MyCareTraining as their included optional module. Complete plan includes MyCareTraining module access automatically. In both cases, course credits and learner enrolments are purchased separately.
