Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 2026

This statement covers mycareaudit.co.uk and the MyCareAudit platform, run by CQC Compliance Services Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, including care staff who use phones and tablets on shift.

What you should be able to do

  • Zoom up to 200% without text spilling off the screen.
  • Use the site on a phone, tablet or computer.
  • Move through most pages and forms with a keyboard.
  • Use most of the site with a screen reader.

How accessible it is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit, so we cannot yet say the site fully meets this standard. Some parts may be harder to use, for example:

  • charts and dashboards that do not have a text alternative for every figure;
  • older PDF and Word downloads that may not be fully tagged for screen readers;
  • complex tables and drag-and-drop screens (such as rota planning) on small screens.

Asking for help or another format

If you need information in a different format, or you find a problem we have not listed, email Contact us via email. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

If you are not happy with our reply

You can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS): equalityadvisoryservice.com.

What we are doing

We check new features against WCAG 2.2 AA as we build them and fix reported problems as a priority. We plan to commission an independent audit and will update this statement with the results.
