Documents checklist

CQC registration documents checklist for 2026

Short answer

You need a statement of purpose, a full set of policies and procedures that match your service, DBS checks for the registered manager and nominated individual, and evidence of how you will recruit, train and supervise staff and monitor quality. Make sure every document tells the same story.

What providers say

“I have sought support from Sheref and I can confidently say he is one of the best consultant you can wish for. He is very in tune with what he does. What stands him out for me is his commitment and prompt response to help me out of any hurdles or enquiries that pops up during registration process and after. He remains available to me as a side support throughout and after the registration too to ensure I get there. It felt like a god-sent. Sheref is very fair and reasonable with his fees and the quality ongoing support he gives you worth every penny. He held my hands all along until I reached my goals fully. He was simply an email-away for me. I will recommend his consultancy services with confidence to anyone needing support without hesitation. Just trust you are in the right hands.”
